MUSIC RECORDING in our studio

If you decide to come to the studio for the whole session and production from recording tracks to mixing and mastering you will find yourself working in beautiful Jozefoslaw, a neighborhood south of Warsaw. (see map)

For bands traveling from longer distances it's possible to stay at the studio - we've had up to 5-8 people for large sessions. The studio is at your disposal during your session - usually our guests don't want to leave and we are always sad to see guests leave because it's often a great time all day lasting into the morning!

Besides our two studios and huge amount of equipment, we have a "winter garden", veranda and a rustic fireplace (musicians love to smoke good Polish kielbasa over an open fire - after sessions everyone usually has gained a few pounds!). There's a bathroom with a shower and an outdoor patio where musicians can relax while other members of the band are recording. Mountain bikes, a ping pong table, gym equipment and a dvd player are all available for your comfort.

RECORDING ON LOCATION - not in the studio, we come to you:

THIS IS THE BEST RECORDING OPTION for some types of recording like for ORCHIESTRAS AND CHOIRS and any other large groups. With this option we come to you with a mobile studio and quickly and professionally rekord your sound.

We record "regular" CDs on locations but also live concerts. We recorded lots of bands live not to mention the largest live recording in Polish history for the album "Życzymy Życzymy" with over 1000 musicians and singers at the same time!

We've done dozens of orchestras and choirs as well as folk groups and even rock groups. This is the most comfortable and cheapest method for large groups because of the cost and hassle of traveling to Warsaw.

How does it work in practice?

We come to you with our equipment. Our equipment is all set up specially in flight cases with high-quality cable connections (we have around 3000 cables in the studio stretching over 9km!!!). We hook it all up and in a couple hours can record just like in the studio...

Next, on location we record everything in individual tracks - our system allows us to record from 24 to 96 tracks at a time!!! Then we return to Warsaw, hook up editing programs and mix it down - either with you or often without - our regular customers trust us completely because of the great results they've had.

We've been doing this for about 20 years in all kinds of locations all over the country. Good recordings can be done anywhere. Some of the best are done in recording rooms, concert halls etc., often the natural acoustics of those kinds of places make the character of the recording unique.

RECORDING A DEMO:

Recording a demo is the shortest and CHEAPEST type of session. You can record "live" with several musicians but the most cost effective and easiest on the vocalist is to record the band first and finish by focusing on the vocalist.

Next we mix the recording or in the fastest and least expensive sessions the mixing and mastering can be done online. Mixing can be done on the same top of the line equipment and computers that we use for entire albums but optimally everything can be set up for a more concert and live sound, in which case it's sometimes even possible to produce an entire demo well in 1-3 days!

RECORDING AN ALBUM:

This is the longest but the best system of recording - we don't compromise or hurry like when recording a demo. Recording an album involves much more than just a demo does, other than drum and bass each instrument and vocal part should be recorded separately - and done to perfection. Using physical interfaces to mix has a huge advantage over amateur recordings done entirely on computer programs.

We have great consoles in the studio, and while we have everything needed to do mixes entirely digitally, we focus on the great sound of our "live" equipment. Before each session, we have a strategy session where we set up a timeline, decide how much time to spend on each instrument/vocal, mix etc. Session lengths vary, to the extreme: from 30 to a thousand hours. RECORDING BANDS:

We've recorded hundreds of different groups, take a quick look at the photo gallery - as you'll notice they are of various styles and genres. Any good studio should be able to successfully record many different styles of music and we're no exception.

We have or can have ordered basically any equipment that might be desired from amps to effects. We also have three types of drum kits (Gretch, Yamaha, Pearl), various keyboards etc.

RECORDING VOCALISTS AND SOLOISTS:

We've had tremendous success recording famous artists like Edytę Geppert, Marka Grechutę, Artura Gadowskiego - IRA, Andrzeja Sikorowskiego, Beatę Rybotyckš, Andrzeja Cierniewskiego, Anię Wyszkoni and hundreds of others, famous vocalist, but also starters and even young artist recording their first record. We also happily record children. One of the most satisfying thing about working with you artists is that some of the young artist we record have even gone on to do well in competitions like Idol and other TV programs.

For vocal recordings we use the BEST microphones available in the world like Neumann, AKG, Bruel&Kjear, Beyer, Sennheiser not to mention the standard Shures. Check out our equipment. We always chose the best microphone for each vocalist before recording. For each voice is an microphone optimally suited to it. Finding it allows us to capture the nuances of a voice - finding the right microphone is half the job!

REMASTERING and MASTERING

We provide remastering and mastering services used by many top-flight artists. Mastering is often considered more of an art than a science so whether you have the feel is what counts - by the hit CDs and happy customers we have it. But we also have the science part covered with around 20 years of experience, highly trained sound engineers and the best equipment.

RECORDING ONLY TRACKS (.wav):

Taking this router we record individual tracks - like guitars or drums - using our top of the line microphones, processors and most importantly our 25 year history. We can record 24bit tracks. These "raw" tracks can then be taken to other studios to be mixed and have effects added.
